SBDC Helps Entrepreneur Andrew Zook to Launch Geared Up

Pinedale, WY. Pinedale is situated in the middle of miles and miles of wide open spaces and great bike trails. Entrepreneur Andrew Zook sees the area as the entryway to the Greater Yellowstone ecosystem and saw an opportunity. In 2018, Andrew began working with the Wyoming Small Business Development Center (SBDC) Network to open Geared Up — a bike shop offering sales, rentals, and repair services.

Wyoming SBDC Network Regional Director Rob Condie worked with Andrew to create an extensive business plan, develop cash flow projections, and even apply for the state’s new Kickstart:Wyoming grant. 

Geared Up is serving local customers and tourists who are enjoying the many trails found within the Yellowstone area. They are already exceeding expectations and business projections.
