New SBA Resources for Small Businesses

The SBA has recently announced new resources for small business owners - resources that Wyoming entrepreneurs can take advantage of. As an economic developer and community leader you can promote these within your local community as a way to support entrepreneurs and spur economic growth. SBA Wyoming will be discussing these further during a panel at WEDA’s Fall Conference in Sheridan on the 29th of September.

New SBA Partnership with the Small Business Majority

The SBA/Small Business Majority partnership will make it easier for small businesses and entrepreneurs to access informational resources, tips and tools. 

“This alliance between the SBA and Small Business Majority will help expand and deepen the SBA’s outreach network to better connect with small businesses and entrepreneurs in every corner of our nation. This collaborative training series comes at a critical time as small businesses continue to navigate inflation, supply chain disruptions, and workforce challenges,” said SBA Administrator Guzman. “With Small Business Majority, we will be working to provide relevant educational webinars and better communicate to small businesses owners about the vital resources the SBA offers that can help them strengthen their balance sheets and leverage the opportunities and benefits in the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act, CHIPS and Science Act, and the Inflation Reduction Act which will lower health and energy costs, bolster our clean energy economy and supply chains, and shrink our federal deficit – all while strengthening success pathways to the American Dream for our entrepreneurs.”

Small Business Webinar Series

The U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) and Small Business Majority will host a webinar series on the topics impacting small business owners today. The goal is to break down barriers and make it easier for small business owners to connect with federal partners and the support available through them (the SBA and SBDA specifically). In addition, these webinars will address relevant challenges and present solutions. For example, webinars will address inflation, supply chain issues, and technology changes. In addition, information will be presented on how to lower costs while increasing revenue and operational efficiency.
