September 13, 2023
The Wyoming Economic Development Association (WEDA) offers opportunities for members to learn more about the state through training opportunities, conferences, and more. As part of this year’s Wyoming Working Together Conference, being held Sept. 20-22 in Lander, attendees will tour the Wyoming Life Resource Center (WLRC) in Lander.
WEDA Members: Learn more about WLRC, a best practice of what economic developers can bring to their own communities
WLRC is an Intermediate Care Facility for People with Intellectual Disability (ICF/ID) with 24-hour care, 365 days a year. Its mission is to provide high level intermediate and long-term care and services to individuals in Wyoming who are hard to place, have high medical needs, or manifest exceptionally difficult behaviors.
The WLRC is a state-of-the-art facility designed to meet the needs of its residents. It is a valuable resource for the people of Wyoming, providing a safe and supportive environment for people with intellectual disabilities, helping them reach their full potential. The WLRC is a best practice example of what economic developers can help to build in their own communities.
