Multiple sectors experienced growth. With mining serving as one of the top industries in the state, it’s not surprising that it added the most jobs. However, multiple sectors saw substantial growth, including professional and business services, local government, leisure and hospitality, manufacturing, wholesale trade, transportation and warehousing, and health care and social assistance. In total, 21 of Wyoming’s 23 counties saw payroll growth, and 19 saw employment growth.
