Board

Kevin has lived in Wyoming since 1995 and his relatives have lived here for generations.  He has an MBA from the University of Wyoming, two engineering degrees, and a registered Professional Engineer in the state of Wyoming.  He has been successfully working for and managing manufacturing companies for more than two decades and is now focused on helping others succeed in business and expanding Wyoming’s economy.  

Currently, Kevin has multiple jobs including 1) Executive Director of IDEA Inc., a 501 (c) 4, non-profit

Economic Development Organization (EDO) in Riverton since 2014.  As the Economic Development Director Kevin has written several grants and manages Economic Development projects for local companies to provide added infrastructure, facilities, and employment.  2) Regional Project and Account Manager for Manufacturing Works serving Fremont County and the surrounding area.  MW is part of the Wyoming Business Resource Network, which is a valuable resource to all Wyoming businesses.  Kevin assists local manufacturers increase revenue, decrease costs, and improve profitability.  and 3) President and Chairman of the board for Pertech Resources Inc. (PRI), a Wyoming company that was formed in 2003 via a buy-out with the assistance of multiple economic development entities.  PRI designs, develops, and manufactures printing solutions for the North American financial market.

Kevin has served on multiple boards and has experience as chairman, vice chairman, secretary, and treasurer.  Board positions include the Wyoming Workforce Development Council for 15 years where he chaired the Strategic Planning and Communications committees, IDEA Inc. and Depot Foundation board since 2005, St. Margaret’s Parish finance chairman and member for 10 years, Riverton Rotary member and Foundation co-chair since 2005, SEAC Banche/Pertech Industries Inc. board for 5 years, etc.  

Kevin’s wife Kelly has several degrees in political science and has worked for US Senators Wallup, Thomas, and Barrasso.  Kevin’s daughter Jocelin is working for a start-up company in New Mexico.

Kevin is a graduate of Leadership Wyoming class of 2017, a WEDA member since 2014, former youth soccer coach, a confessed golf addict, and volunteer for multiple projects in the central Wyoming.  He received the Entrepreneur award for central Wyoming, 40 under forty award, and several other achievement awards associated with business and economic development.  Kevin and a group of committed community members got the ½% sales tax for economic development on the ballot during the pandemic, which passed by a narrow margin and is currently being used to improve economic development for the citizens of Fremont County.
